Glyfada-based Ship Management Company is seeking to recruit a Freight Collection Analyst for its Dry Bulkers division who will be responsible for:
- handling cargo documents for calculating hire/freight and all other expenses
- conducting thorough reviews of all C/P contracts to ensure that the due collection of hire/freight/claims is in compliance with C/P terms
- preparing and issuing (final) hire statements, freight invoices, lay time calculations and any other expense(s) due
- ensuring timely collection of outstanding freight/hire and/or claims
The ideal candidate
- holds a University Degree in Accounting or Shipping studies
- has a few years’ experience in a similar position
- is fluent in English
- possesses excellent numerical, analytical, communication and time management skills
- has a keen eye for detail and is able to work under pressure
- can work independently, but also enjoys being part of a team.
